The Triund trek is notable for its steep ascent of over 1,100 meters. It only takes about 3 hours to get to Triund from Galu Temple. The steep climbing begins at the last 2 kilometers from Snowline Café, so the trek is relatively easy.


Getting to Triund from Mcleodganj


Galu serves as the starting point for the Triund trek. To get to Galu, one can either take a taxi from Mcleodganj or begin the trek from there. Many visitors begin their trek in Bhagsu Nag, known for its beautiful waterfall.
