Day 1: Delhi to Manali Other Amenities Meal

Day 2: Tuesday, Manali

Day 3: Manali to Solang Nala and back to Bakerthach (3500 meters/11480 BMT)
This thrilling climb to Friend Peak will start with a trek via one of Himachal Pradesh’s busiest hiking routes. A jeep will take you to Solang Valley in the early morning to check-in. After breakfast at the guesthouse in Solang Valley, you will put your belongings into vans and go to Dundi, where the walk begins. You will go from Palchani Tach to Bakerthach on the third day. The remainder of the day can be spent by trekkers exploring Bakerthach. In the encampment of Bakerthach, supper is provided.

Day 4: Bakertach Camp: Beas Kund Base Camp, 3690m
Trekkers will begin their journey to Beas Kund, a sacred river in Himachal Pradesh, after breakfast. Beas Kund is a well-known rest area for numerous different hiking routes, including Shitidhar, Ladakh, and Manali. The Beas Kund Glacier is seen on the journey as it leads to Base Camp. At the camp, lunch and dinner will be provided.

Day 5: A full day spent in Beas Kund Base Camp
After breakfast, visitors will participate in a training session where they will learn how to use the equipment. The guides in this training program will get you ready to face the snow glaciers you may have to cross in the coming days. Allow yourself some time to become acquainted with the climbing boots, crampons, and harness. You become accustomed to your tools and learn how to effectively arrest slope falls.

Day 06: Advance camp from Base camp
You will hike uphill for about 4-5 hours to the advanced base camp after breakfast. The setting of the advanced base camp is magnificent, nestled among the mountain ranges. Trekkers will prepare their equipment as they take in the scenery of the hills.

Day 07: Set aside for Bakarthach summit efforts
The trip to the summit will start quite early in the morning, at 3 AM. You will need to walk for six hours to get to the peak from the base camp. You will traverse numerous crevasses, glaciers, and snow peaks on this difficult hike. Trekkers should be able to reach the summit by nine in the morning if everything goes according to plan. Visitors will have an unobstructed view of the nearby mountains, towns like Lahaul & Spiti, and Manali from the summit of the hill.

Day 08
Return to Manali
Follow the same route back to civilization. After breakfast on the eighth day, hikers will make their way down to Dhundi, the trailhead. You will have the chance to explore Manali after lunch. Make sure to visit Hadimba, Vashisht’s hot springs, and perhaps even the Naggar Roerich Art Gallery. At the hotel where you are staying in Manali, supper has been planned.

Day 09: Delhi and Manali
